Episode III: Bill & Lee share the brotherhood of camp life
After a exhausting 3 hour trek through a pine forest that was heavy with snowdrifts, we came upon a beach along the edge of Loon Lake. Though 40 degrees, I immediately lay down in the sand and fell asleep. Lee, pulling his trusty jacknife, began carving intricate wooden animals out of hunk of oak he found along the trail.

Upon awakening, I scouted the Lake and found a suitable campsite. Quickly setting a series of snares and deadfalls, I was hoping for a dinner of hare, fox or beaver, but, alas, no creatures were stirring. Thus, cooking over the open flame of our campfire, I heated up a delightful dinner of Dinty Moore Beef Stew, while Lee stuck with a Lipton pasta dish which looked quite tasty.
