Welcome! A few summers ago, I had the opportunity to tour parts of Ireland with my family. Since I'm half Irish, I've always been curious about the "Emerald Island."

Ireland is a highly photogenic country, and I saw the trip as a chance to try some new forms of photography - digital and panoramic - now possible to show over the web. Thanks to the generous assistance of a number of companies and individuals (like Apple and Kaidan, all noted in the credits), I was able to do just that.

What you see here is the end result - a collection of photos and "panoromas" (immersive, interactive photographs), along with some history. It's organized as a "Virtual Tour" taking you through the regions I visited:

    - Northern County Clare
    - Limerick
    - County Kerry
    - Waterford
    - Dublin

I hope you like "Ireland VR" -- please let me know what you think. And as they say in Ireland, "Céad Míle Fáilte!" : 100,000 Welcomes!

Note:
This tour covers the Republic of Ireland, which is very safe and stable. Religious affiliations are discussed only because it's impossible to talk about Irish history without mentioning them. I very much hope the troubles up in Northern Ireland get sorted out peacefully.
